The Uniform Services
Employment and Reemployment Rights Act:
Effective March 10, 2005, employers are required
to provide a new notice to "persons entitled to
rights and benefits" of USERRA. The notice must
be posted where employee notices are customarily
placed. Additionally, service members may now
elect to continue health
care coverage under a COBRA-like program for a
maximum
period of 24 months.
